Thank you to our sponsors:

In January 2008, PCA launched The Arts In Your Inbox, a dynamic email campaign to support and promote arts events in Central Virginia. Through the campaign, PCA sends an HTML e-mail message every two weeks to a growing list of arts interested people in our area.

The Arts In Your Inbox highlights five upcoming events that cover a range of arts genres, appeal to a variety of arts audiences, and extend beyond Charlottesville and Albemarle, representing artists and organizations throughout the Central Virginia area. Click on the links below (coming soon!) to view some recent examples.

Feature Your Organization

If you are an arts organization or local artist interested in being featured in an upcoming issue of The Arts In Your Inbox, please let us know!

Key criteria:

  • Priority consideration is currently given to organizations that email info@charlottesvillearts.org with information about a cultural event that occurs (or requires registration) in the two weeks following the next email.
  • Organizations will not be covered more than once in a few months, unless serving as a venue for another organization’s event.
  • When sending event information for coverage, organizations must include “for The Arts In Your Inbox” prominently in the message body or subject line.
  • The Arts In Your Inbox is sent every 1st and 3rd full week of the month, so we need to receive the information by email 3-4 weeks before the event takes place.
  • We must have an image to include with the event write-up. Organizations should send an eye-catching, web-ready image with caption to info@charlottesvillearts.org.
  • As long as the event works well with the other 4 features to meet the goals described above, we will gladly cover it.

By summer 2008, priority coverage in The Arts In Your Inbox will be a benefit of membership. The current membership rate is $35 per year, and you can become a member of PCA here.

Even if we are unable to feature an organization’s event the first time it’s requested, we will always include the event on our cultural calendar and try to feature it on our weekly homepage event listing.
